Five (5) ways to promote your blog for heavy traffic
Having high traffic on your web site or blog doesn't come by chance, it comes by meticulous efforts. High traffic is equal to heavy visitor which can be converted into cash. This is why it is important to promote your blog. How do you achieve that? This article will share five (5) ways to make your blog highly traffic.
I bring this up because when you are analyzing your traffic stats and your conversion percentages and your bounce rates and things like that, you tend to assume that the traffic you are getting is traffic from people who are at least a little bit interested in your website. But, you might be getting traffic from people you didn't intend to get to come to your site. In other words you could be getting non-targeted traffic which is pretty much useless.
If you just wanted to get lots of traffic to your site, you could run around placing banner ads that say you have nude photos of various celebrities. Maybe you have seen that traffic tactic used? But unless your site actually has those photos on there, people are going to just click away from your site and probably never return to it. That traffic isn't going to buy your products oric click on your advertisements. If they do happen to click on your advertisements, they probably won't convert for that advertiser anyway. That is why you should pay strong attention to the kind of traffic you are getting.
Strategy 1: Have evergreen content.
Evergreen content, I normally called Killer Content. This content is heavier and loaded by your normal post. This is done strategically to enrich your blog's content. How do you keep evergreen content? Follows the 3 steps below:
(a) Choose educative and entertaining title
(b) Make the information relevant to your readers
(c) Highlight the emotional benefit to your readers
Strategy 2: Post Regularly
It is best if you post two or three days to always keep your site fresh. Search engines also like fresh contents. Regular post with relevant content will give your site high traffic.
Strategy 3: Comment and participate in other niche blogs
Blog promotion is a reciprocal thing. As you take interest in other related blog by commenting, participating in others own, the more you build credibility; attract link backs and ultimately new blog readers.
The more you give powerful comments in other people's blog, you gradually win the heart and attention of the users there. Once users read and enjoy your comment, they will be happy to visit your site.
