Windows 7 Tips And Tricks - Wonderful Features Of Windows 7 You Can't Ignore

Windows 7 is no doubt one of the best operating systems ever released by Microsoft Corporation. It's more than just an operating system because it contains some inbuilt features that will give the user a wonderful and amazing experience.
Although the minimum requirements specified by Microsoft Corporation for installing Windows 7 is Pentium 4, 2.8 GHz, 1 GB RAM but I successfully installed Windows 7 on a Pentium 4, 2.8 GHz System with 512mb RAM and with some tweak I was able to use it well with some good speed. Some of the features that make windows 7 stand out are listed below:



1. Snipping Tool: One of the tools I like using in windows 7 is snipping Tool. This tool can be used to take snapshot of any screen and save it in any picture format e.g. JPG. It is very useful for web designer and graphic artists because they can use it to quickly extract picture or selected picture from any group of pictures.

2. Advance Calculator: This is another interesting feature of windows 7. The calculator has a lot of interesting and advanced features. It has interface for statisticians and programmers. If you don't have ideal on how to use it, you can explore the options menu. This menu contains some conversion units such as length, weight etc. You can calculate the difference between dates. You can also explore it feature for other spreadsheet functions.

3. God Mode: Enabling this mode is like bringing a lorry load of all the tools you need in a place. God mode contains all the tools (hidden) of windows 7. You can locate all the applets you need in the panel. To create and activate God Mode, create a new folder on your desktop & name it Everything.(ED7BA470 - 8E54 – 465E – 825C – 9971201C) this will automatically change the folder to God Mode. When you access this folder, you'll see a lot of hidden tools and applets.

4. Slideshow Wallpaper: Windows 7 has some nice wallpaper. They are beautiful wallpapers that run as slideshow on the screen. One interesting thing is that you can display more than one wallpaper set at a time as slideshow on the desktop. To do this, Right click on an empty area of the desktop and select personalize from the pop up menu, click on desktop background then hold down ctrl button on the keyboard and click on the background images you want one after the other. You can also choose how often you want the background images to change. There are a lot of other inbuilt features you can get with Windows 7.
